A widely experienced Arbitrator who has been practicing for over 20 years, by appointment of both the regular courts of justice and by consensual appointment of disputing parties, addressing matters such as company dissolutions, inheritances, and marital partnerships, executing the respective liquidations and partitions, and resolving any civil and commercial disputes.
For several decades he has been a private attorney for important banking and financial entities in the country. He also practices as an attorney-at-law in lawsuits and defenses for a range of clients in both civil and commercial cases, in both regular courts and arbitrations.
Mr. Appelgren studied at the Law Faculty at the Universidad Diego Portales and was admitted to practice as an Attorney by the Honorable Supreme Court in 1994.
María José Appelgren has been a partner at the law firm since 2014.
She leads the Appelgren Abogados litigation team and works as an attorney-at-law on private-civil-commercial law matters and on corporate bankruptcy and reorganization proceedings in both regular courts and arbitrations.
Mrs. Appelgren studied at the Law Faculty at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and was admitted to practice as an Attorney by the Honorable Supreme Court in 2014.
